The Wset in Puglia: VINEWAY ITALIA International training seat
Share on FacebookShare on Twitter

The landing of the Wset at the Vinoway Italia srl headquarters quanto a Puglia represents for us not only an important milestone, but a reason for authentic pride.

Accepting quanto a our reality the most recognized and authoritative program at an international level means further strengthening our mission: to build an ecosystem quanto a which skills, experiences and culture merge to generate value.

The Wine & Spirit Education Società is synonymous with method, rigor and prestige, and the great novelty of this edition, quanto a the way completely exceptional, is that the lessons will be held quanto a Italian, making the course more inclusive and accessible.

The WSET will provide the official didactic material, but quanto a the spirit of Vinoway – which deeply believes quanto a the strength of the collaborations that enrich the system – we have chosen to support this path a further added value: the Wineway Academy. Through the winewayacademy.it platform, participants will be able to deepen and consolidate their skills with exclusive tools, creating an ideal bridge between the international program of the program and the cultural and experiential richness of Italian wine.

Special thanks go to Chiara Giorleo, a very high level of Campania journalist and tasting, whom we had the pleasure of interviewing. She will illustrate the methods of participation and accompany this path with her professionalism and authoritativeness, offering students a precious guide.

Accepting the Wset quanto a our location therefore means not only hosting an international program, but fully embodying the spirit of Vinoway: networking, creating synergies and transforming any collaboration into an opportunity for growth for the entire wine system.

What really is WSET and what value does it add today, internationally, quanto a the scenario of wine ?

These are courses and related certifications recognized at an international level of particular prestige and expenditure quanto a the world of work. They allow a complete deepening of the wine matter, including sparkling and fortified, which is gradually more detailed by climbing the 4 levels available.

What are the profiles to which it addresses: aspiring professionals, sector operators even enthusiasts who want structured ?

Waset courses are gara open to all, neophytes professionals – each will set their own path as a result with our support. They are perfectly complementary with the paths already followed with associations of Italian summilleries other schools. There are those who start from scratch and want to get an preconcetto with an immediate and schematic approach those who work already quanto a the sector and want to consolidate their competence, those who have started with national courses and feel the need to expand knowledge by adopting an approach with a global breath, and those who aim to be professionally inserting quanto a an international context.

How is the course articulated, from the first level to the most advanced, and what skills are acquired along the progression?

The system is organized quanto a four levels, from the first to the fourth, quanto a increasing order of difficulties and prestige, for each one, the relative certificate of value and spent – goes by itself – growing – is issued (upon exceeding the examination. Per Italy the first three are available, organized by official providers such as – precisely – huge wset app with which I collaborate, while the fourth remains accessible only abroad at the moment. These are short -lived courses (from 1 to 6 days) that provide, from level 2 onwards, the preparatory individual study and prior to the days of the course held by Educator which are certified directly from the headquarters after a rigid targeted course. From level 1, introductory, you progressively go up to more technical and professionalizing content with an increasingly important level of details and therefore a value, of the relative certification, growing and which also rely acceso the individual study that precedes the course days.

To what extent does Wset 1 represent a springboard to the following levels?

Level 1 is designed as an introduction for those who have mai previous experiences quanto a the sector want to acquire the fundamental minimo bases. , it is suitable for those who prefer to fit into the WSET system gradually have put the books aside for a long time. It is a short course, lasting a single day, which provides the essential vocabulary of the wine and a first floury acceso the tasting. The exam is very simple and aims to recapitulate when addressed acceso the day spent together. Risposta negativa requirement preparatory study to access it, just register within 15 days before the scheduled dates.

With level 2 you enter the heart of a more technical : what are the main differences compared to level 1 quanto a terms of quanto a -depth analysis and commitment required?

It is the most popular course, especially by those who are already inserted quanto a the sector and do not need the level 1 infarination. Per fact, it is accessed after completing level 1, showing an equivalent formation, quanto a fact. The course of L2 lasts three days, from 9 to 17: 2 and a half days of the course with about 40 wines quanto a tasting and the examination that is held acceso the afternoon of the third day. Per the case of L2, the exam consists of a multiple choice esperimento (50 questions quanto a 1 hour), there is mai oral written tasting. During the lessons, the whole program is traced, but it is essential to arrive prepared, precisely because the third day is already held the exam as we said. Therefore, I recommend registering a few weeks earlier -based acceso their work and personal commitments -, at that point the material is sent home for the individual study, so as to be able to the course with greater awareness. Per fact, the Wset L2 requires about 12 hours of pre-course individual study.

Can Vinoway Academy play a complementary and strategic role quanto a accompanying the participants quanto a the WSET 2 path?

Surely yes, it is not a question of replacing official teaching, but of offering further deepening opportunities and support that facilitate learning and strengthen the skills acquired. Per this way, the Vinoway Academy becomes an added value for those who Wset 2: a bridge between the international penalty penalty and the cultural and experiential study linked to Italian wine.

The next dates quanto a Puglia

The WSET courses quanto a Puglia are organized by Enocole Wset App (Official Provider Wset) quanto a collaboration with Vinoway, and are already acceso the calendar. There is a limited number of places available quanto a order to form restricted classes and be able to follow the subscribers seriously. The courses are activated upon reaching the minimo number.
