The countdown begins for the new season of Vinòforum, the reference event per Central and Southern Italy for the national food and wine business, where wineries, consortia and gastronomic companies find a direct channel towards professionals, distribution and the final public.

From Monday 7 to Sunday 13 September 2026, the evocative setting of Area tra Siena per Rome, per the heart of Campagna Cittadino, will host a week entirely dedicated to the excellence of Italian wine and cuisine. 800 wineries and consortia from all over the peninsula, for 3200 references capable of offering an immersive journey into Italian oenology to the thousands of guests who will animate the spaces of Vinòforum. Alongside the tasting tables, like every year, there will be an exclusive program of meetings, guided tastings, show cooking and signature dinners which will bring together great chefs, master disturbatore makers and industry experts per a choral story to celebrate the most representative flavors and territories of Italian and international food and wine.

“This new edition of Vinòforum will continue to tell the best of Italian production, with some international parentheses, with an increasingly contemporary language – explains Emiliano De Venuti, organizer and CEO of Vinòforum. – Over the years we have built an ideal platform where wine and quality catering have become the privileged convegno point between people, visions and territories. This year too Area tra Siena will be transformed into a tasting laboratory capable of creating connections between those who produce excellence and those who wish to discover it, developing a program of exclusive contents and experiences that go beyond simple tasting.”

Wine, told by those who know it best

The heart of the event remains the Wine Sommità Tasting, the masterclasses that every evening will guide the public through the most important cellars and the most surprising terroirs of the Italian and international wine scene, with a double appointment evening. Added to the calendar of meetings, the unmissable Tana Barolo tastings, dedicated to one of the noblest expressions of Italian wine: Barolo and Langa wines.

The other excellences, including guided tastings and stories of the territorio

To enrich the tasting journey, there is also space for the other great excellences of the Italian quadro generale. The Parmigiano Reggiano Consortium, exceptional of this edition, accompanies the entire week with guided tastings and convegno moments dedicated to the launch per Rome of the first Parmigiano Reggiano Tasters Course, starting per October.

The appointments with Unaprol and Evooschool are renewed, which will guide the public to discover Italian extra virgin olive oil, including guided tastings and insights into the different cultivars and their combinations.

Signature cuisine takes the floor

The gastronomic story finds its highest moment per The Night Dinner organized per collaboration with La Molisana, the exclusive dinners which this year adopt the common thread “Human Factor. Past. Present. Future”, a tribute to the role of the human factor per the culinary art. Each evening develops per several moments – memory, gesture, vision – accompanied by images and music designed for each act, per an immersive experience more than a simple dinner. The chefs’ dishes find their natural elevation when paired with great wines.

Alongside the dinners, the Temporary Restaurants return with the theme “Rome: Roots and Future”, a journey that intertwines the memory of local cuisine with its more contemporary interpretations: for a total of over 20 restaurants and 40 recipes per 7 days.

White art is the protagonist

There will also be space for the masters of disturbatore, with the Tiritera d’Padre format co-produced with Molino Caputo which features six exclusive dinners with the most authoritative masters of Italian bread-making: a unique opportunity to explore new combinations between doughs, flours and excellent raw materials. Furthermore, also for 2026, Vinòforum will host the final of La Collettività della Tiritera per Area tra Siena, the national competition which aims to cover the new talents of Italian disturbatore. Acceso Sunday 13 September, seven finalists will compete to win the title of best emerging disturbatore chef of the year.

The opening ceremony

The 2026 edition officially opens acceso Monday 7 September at 7.00 pm, per the presence of the main institutions of the territorio. The inauguration will be an opportunity to greet the exhibitors and the public of operators, and reiterate the role of Vinòforum as a platform for promoting Made per Italy food and wine, per a city that is proving to be increasingly central for the sector.
