Four -handed toast: a incontro between winemakers and gourmets
Montina and Campagna Baiana welcome spring with the third appointment “Brindisi with four hands”, a cycle of meetings designed to enhance the conviviality and the discovery of food and wine excellence. It will be held Sunday 23 March 2025 and will see the collaboration between Montina Franciacorta and Achille Boroli. The guests will be guided con a tasting experience that will combine the Franciacorta su Montina with the great Piedmontese wines of the Boroli winery, accompanied by four dishes curated by the chefs of Campagna Baiana. The lista of the evening includes a beef tongue bowl with brioche and plum jam, combined with Langhe Nebbiolo 1661 DOC, followed by a risotto with Franciacorta with a reduction to Barolo and Bagoss cream con combination with the Franciacorta Millesimato Brut 2020. Saturday 8 and Sunday 9 March 2025, Montina joins the Spring Franciacorta Manifestazione, offering a weekend full of events dedicated to wine, gastronomy and art. A causa di the afternoon of both days, from 14:00 to 18:00, the cellar will aperto its doors for free tastings without the need for booking. A perfect opportunity to immerse yourself con the atmosphere of Franciacorta, savoring the Montina wines con a welcoming and informal context. Saturday 8 March, the Sparkling Bloom event: art, wine and taste will offer a multisensory experience that will combine the visit to the cellar with art, through the exhibition “Transparency to the Deep”, edited by the students of the Santagiulia Academy. After the tour and the artistic inauguration, guests will be able to taste a gourmet buffet accompanied by music, with a culinary offer that ranges from cold cuts and fried dumplings, to Fish & Chips, up to the Valencian paella. Sunday 9 March, the “Franciacorta for three: risotto” event will be dedicated to lovers of refined cuisine. Three different interpretations of risotto will be combined with three Franciacorta Montina, with the participants called to vote the most successful combination. The experience is interactive, perfect for those who want to deepen the link between food and wine.
The contemporary art protagonist at the Montina Gallery
Montina is not only wine, but also a center of culture and creativity. The Abito contemporary art gallery will host, during the Franciacorta Manifestazione, the Transparency to the Deep exhibition of the “Digital Art and Young” project, an initiative born con collaboration with the Santagiulia Academy of Brescia. The exhibition project focuses the artistic reflection of young students around the themes of climate change, memory and the relationship between nature and man. The works display explore deep concepts through multimedia installations, 3D printing sculptures, videos and artistic prints. Among the projects exposed: “flow”, which represents the climatic crisis, “glace” which, through the metaphor of ice, reflects the crystallization of human memories. Next to these works, 14 personal creations of students will be exhibited ranging from digital art to illustration, each with a unique and innovative language.
