The 2025 harvest starts most of Italy with encouraging signals, despite the challenges posed by an increasingly variable climate. From the South Islands to the North Vineyards, there is a general return to normal quanto a the collection time, a condition favored by a rainy winter and a mild spring that have supported the vegetative development and the health of the grapes. The challenges related to the climate and the market remain, but from north to south the Italy of wine demonstrates once again an ability to adapt, cohesion and innovation. Quality, sustainability and attention to the community – as shown by solidarity initiatives and good agronomic practices – are the pillars of a sector that continues to be cultural and economic engine of the country. Now it remains to see what the next few weeks will reserve us, but the premises are all there for a great year.
