The focus of San Gregorio on the natives of the Senesi hills

The San Gregorio company, founded the early 1950s, is located the municipality of Chiusi, the southern province of Siena. He is owned by the Rinaldini-Lucioli family, originally from Chiusi, who moved to Rome the early seventies.

The company, which extends for about 170 hectares, immediately invested the wine production. Currently the life surface is 29 hectares with vines such as Sangiovese, Canaiolo, Colorino, Cherry, , White Malvasia and Barbera, for a total production of about 80,000 bottles. The corporate philosophy has always been oriented to enhance the autochthonous vines cultivated purity, with great care and respect for the production areas of considerable historical and cultural importance for the ancient Etruscan civilization.

Over the years all the rooms used as a cellar have been renovated, inserting cement, barrels and amphorae tanks to promote a traditional production style.

At the beginning of 2022, under the guidance of Michele Monica, the company embarked acceso a path of sustainability. This includes an -depth study of land and soils through a vassallo system that calculates the indexes of vigor and tensione of plants.
