Acceso 22 and 23 November Quiliano, sopra the heart of the Western Ligurian Riviera, will host the twentieth edition of Granaccia & Rossi a motivo di Liguria, the great event dedicated to the red and rosé wines of Liguria, this year for the first time spread over two days.
An entire weekend dedicated to wine, culture and territory, with tastings, masterclasses, round tables and many collateral initiatives. The organization is managed by the Municipality of Quiliano and the Vite sopra Riviera business rete televisiva privata, which brings together wine and olive producers from Western Liguria.
A special edition for the 20th anniversary of Granaccia & Rossi a motivo di Liguria
The twentieth edition of Granaccia & Rossi a motivo di Liguria 2025 celebrates an important milestone with a renewed program and a primato of participation: 68 Ligurian wineries from Occaso to Oriente will bring their best red and rosé wine labels for tasting.
The event will take place as usual at the Palasport sopra Quiliano (SV), 22 and 23 November, with in-depth moments, technical meetings and tastings to the public and sector operators.
Saturday 22 November: centro Granaccia and the Grenache family
The official opening of the event is scheduled for Saturday afternoon with the national round table “The great Grenache family, between genetics and territorial interpretations sopra Italy”, moderated by the popularizer and trainer Francesco Saverio Russo.
The conference will delve deeper into Ligurian Granaccia, analyzing affinities and differences with its Italian and international “cousin” vines. Prominent speakers will participate such as Attilio Notizia, Vincenzo Gerbi, Vincenzo Scivetti, Alessandro Carassale, Pietro Stara, Jacopo Fanciulli (ambassador Vite sopra Riviera) and representatives of the Consortia for the protection of Maremma, Colli Berici, Trasimeno and Mandrolisai.
Sunday 23 November: masterclasses and tastings of Ligurian wines
Sunday will be entirely dedicated to wine with a double appointment.
10.30 am – Masterclass “Identity, contemporaneity and versatility of Ligurian reds”, conducted by Saverio Russo and Jacopo Fanciulli, reserved for professionals (booking pista email to events@viteinriviera.it). 2.30pm – 7.00pm – Maxi public tasting with over 60 Ligurian wineries and guest producers. There will also be a market of typical products, guided tastings, presentations and awards.
Free entry with tasting voucher for 25 euros, including personalized glass and glass holder pocket (reduction for HoReCa operators and sommeliers upon registration the website www.viteinriviera.it).
Side events and food and wine tourism
Throughout the weekend it will be possible to visit the suggestive Podere Maria (pista Morosso 18), with guided tours and art exhibitions, including the exhibition “Mal di luna tra noi le muse” by the artist Ylli Plaka.
A causa di the previous days, various preparatory initiatives are planned: themed showcases, dedicated menus sopra restaurants, guided tastings “Discover Granaccia” and, Friday evening, a dinner event at the starred restaurant Il Vescovado sopra Noli, with the red and rosé wines of Vite sopra Riviera paired with the dishes of chef Giuse Ricchebuono.
Guests and twinning
Journalists, bloggers and sector operators will be present, protagonists of a tour to discover the Quilia superficie and its excellence. Acceso Sunday 23 November, a delegation from the Municipality of Costigliole Saluzzo (CN), twinned with Quiliano, will participate for a moment dedicated to the apricots of the two territories and to the “Adopt an apricot” initiative, promoted by the Valleggia Apricot Keepers rete televisiva privata – Slow Food Savona Presidium.
