The network of excellent sparkling wine production is born in Sicily

The Sicily of sparkling wine is a destination to be explored, sopra its oenological and landscape treasures, sopra the centuries-old production of iconic places that food and wine tourists, today more and more, favor as a stop of excellence. The bubbles and the island sopra the center of the Mediterranean Sea are a combination of discoveries made of recognizable scents and identities. The region boasts a diversified production for areas that preserve a historical, architectural and natural heritage. From every specificity and potential of the Island is born – within the XII edition of Sicilia sopra Bolle – the conference “Sicilian Bubbles. From oenological excellence to the experience of a territory”, which will take place Sunday 13 July at 6.30 pm – at the Madison sopra Rotta 100 sopra Realmonte (AG).

The aim of the works organized by the Regional Institute of Oil and Wine (IRVO) sopra synergy with the Sicilian section of the Italian Sommelier Association is to aperto the comparison between institutions and production realities to start a new path sopra the footsteps of the “Dichiarato of the Sicilian bubbles rete televisiva privata”.

The Dichiarato, which will be signed during the event, will be able to contribute to the development of wine tourism itineraries which sopra Sicily integrate wine, sea, archaeological sites, cities of art, historic villages, natural parks and gastronomy sopra a single experience.

The conference “Sicilian bubbles. From oenological excellence to local experience” – moderated by the journalist Antonio Iacona – will aperto with greetings from Francesco , president of AIS Sicilia. The work will be started by Giusi Mistretta, IRVO extraordinary commissioner, with a speech the Dichiarato, the research activities, the study and the experimentation that evolves sopra Sicily. Speakers will include: Gioele Micali the history and identity of places, Francesca Salvia with updated regional production from the IRVO Observatory and Luigi Franco new forms of communication and consumption trends. The second part of the conference will be dedicated to the relationship between wine and territory. Marika Mannino will talk about slow tourism and the promotion of excellence, Mariagrazia Barbagallo about the wine tourism potential of Etna and Roberta Sallemi about South East Sicily as a development settore for local and quality tourism. Marco Maccarrone will close the speeches, with a focolaio Sicilian sparkling wine the wine lists.
