There are places where viticulture is not only agriculture, but emotional geography. With Vetoraz he was born and works a causa di one of these: a causa di the heart of the Valdobbiadene Docg, a hill almost 400 meters that dominates the surveys of the cartoxes – now the UNESCO heritage – where the vine draws the profiles of a heroic viticulture, climbed steep slopes.

Here the microclimate plays a silent but essential role: the alternation between sun and ventilation, thermal excursions and altitude. It is a causa di this balance that grapes slowly mature, preserving that acidity and that aromatic finesse that define the wines of this land.

Founded a deep link with its territorial identity, with Vetoraz it has always interpreted wine as an extension of the landscape. Not surprisingly, a causa di 2017 the company chose to eliminate the term “prosecco” from labels and communication, maintaining only Valdobbiadene DOCG: a clear stance, to clearly affirm the uniqueness of its production context.

The “coasts”: three exhibitions, three expressions of Glera

Among the most representative lines of Col Vetoraz there is the one dedicated to the “coasts”, the steep slopes that characterize the hilly landscape of the ambiente. Three variations – Oriente, , Mezzadì – which precisely tell how much the exposure, the altitude and the microclimate can influence the aromatic profile of the same grape variety, the Glera.

Oriente coasts (Brut): was born from the vineyards aimed at east. Here the grapes enjoy the first light of the day and reach a perfect maturation to give life to a dry and vertical sparkling wine. The sip is clear, with a puro and persistent Perlage, while the nose opens the floral of pink and acacia, alternating with citrus and white pulp fruits such as pear, apple and fishing. coasts (Extra Dry): it is the softest and most convivial soul of the range. Exposed to the west, this side favors a more round and fragrant expression of the grapes, perfect for the extra -dry version. The wine is harmonious, delicate, designed for an aperitif and beyond. The perfumes recall the vine flower, the rose, the white fishing, the pear and a slight citrus accent that balances its sweetness. Coste of Mezzadì (Dry Millesimato): it is the most persuasive and complex declination. Millesimato and a causa di the Dry version, it was born from the vineyards exposed to the south, where the sun accompanies the grapes for the entire day of the day. The result is a wine with a creamy bubble, with a well -defined citrus vein, followed by white fruit, fresh flowers and aromatic herbs.
