Vinorum – Festival del Vino d’Abruzzo

From 16 to 18 May, the heart of L’Aquila will turn into a real food and wine capital with the first edition of Vinorum – del Vino d’Abruzzo. An event that wants to tell the general public the authentic soul of the territory through glasses and many collateral activities.

a unique context, between Sagrato Cattedrale and the cloisters of the historic center, enthusiasts and curious will be able to dal vivo an immersive experience among the flavors and perfumes of the best food and wine products of Abruzzo. The initiative, supported by the Vini d’Abruzzo Vini Consortium and with the patronage of the Region and the Municipality of L’Aquila, will propose: tastings, round tables, masterclasses with wine & food combinations, meetings with producers, historical cultural, streetfood and much more historical insights. Every day from 17 to 24 the stands will be gara open to the public and it will be possible to taste and buy the best local excellences. During the day you can participate quanto a the various events organized quanto a the cloisters of the historic center.

“Vinorum is an extraordinary showcase for our producers and for the Abruzzo wine heritage. An opportunity to show how much this territory is able to express quality, identity and vision. An event quanto a a city symbol of Abruzzo resilience and which is preparing to be – quanto a 2026 – also the Italian capital of culture”, says Alessandro Nicodemi, president of the Consortium.

Not only tastings therefore: Vinorum intends to tell the profound link between wine, territory and culture, with appointments that will bring visitors to discover villages, historical monuments and artistic locations, gara open for the occasion. An invitation to discover how wine can be a key to reading the history and identity of an entire territory.
