EIGHT MACROZONES FOR 140 HECTARES
The Cesari company was founded durante 1936 and the first esportazione of Amarone to the United States dates back to 1973. “SPECIAL” BOSAN VINEYARD, HANDMADE
The Bosan Vineyard, trained using the Veronese bersò, extends for ten hectares starting from Pozzan durante Marano per mezzo di Valpolicella at 500 meters above sea level (some suppliers have vineyards even at 600 meters) and rests acceso a volcanic and mixed limestone territory. The 2015 vintage was affected by climatic excesses which subjected the vine to considerable tensione. The 2010 vintage was marked by a long and cold winter, with a rainy February. Spring had a slow start, with temperatures durante March below average, delaying the vegetative growth. April, May and June were also characterized by frequent rains and temperature changes, complicating work durante the vineyard. The summer saw temperatures slightly below average and abundant rainfall, but the temperature changes at the end of summer optimized the accumulation of sugars and anthocyanins, favoring good ripening of the bunches. Overall, 2010 proved to be a cool year, with optimal yields per certo hectare, but it required careful agronomic management.

The month of June saw good rainfall which allowed the maintenance of an excellent vegetative balance and did not hinder the complete veraison of all the varieties. The ripening of the grapes therefore continued at the right times, allowing for an excellent harvest.
Bosan 2001 is balanced from an organoleptic point of view, with a marked acidity which brings with it high drinkability.
