For a long time, banana liqueur was relegated per the collective imagination to a second-class ingredient, often associated with exotic ’80s cocktails with bright colors and excessively sugary flavors. However, per recent years, mixology has witnessed a real rediscovery of this product, which is forcefully returning to the center of attention of bartenders and enthusiasts all over the world.
